BEAUTYPEAK MIRROR GUIDE

Installation & hanging

Find the setup that matches your mirror: wall-mounted, freestanding, leaning, or over the door. Start with the instructions for your exact model.

Your model comes first

Not every mirror supports every setup. Mounting points, stand designs, hanging directions, and included parts vary by model. This guide does not replace your product's instructions.

Before you start

Check the mirror, the parts, and the space before lifting or drilling.

  1. Confirm the model and parts

Check the instructions for your selected mirror and lay out its parts. Confirm the permitted setup, hanging direction, and required hardware.

  2. Check the surface and space

For wall mounting, identify the wall construction and mirror weight. For floor or door setups, check stability and clearance. Check for hidden pipes and wiring before drilling.

  3. Plan for safe handling

Clear the area and protect the mirror while unpacking. Have two people lift large or heavy mirrors. If the wall or fixing choice is unclear, consult a qualified installer.

If the glass, frame, stand, or hanging hardware is damaged, or a required part is missing, stop and contact us before installation.

Choose your setup

Use only a setup approved for your exact model. Some full-length mirrors offer several options; others are designed for a single method.

Hanging direction and hardware vary. Do not assume all rectangular mirrors hang both ways or all door mirrors use the same hooks.

Wall mountingFor mirrors with designated wall-mounting points or brackets.

  1. Confirm the allowed hanging direction and locate every mounting point on the back. Check whether the instructions require removing the floor stand.
  2. Choose fixings suitable for the wall construction and mirror weight. Supplied anchors may not suit your wall. Check for hidden pipes and wiring before drilling.
  3. Measure the actual mounting points and mark them with a level. Install the fixings according to the product and fixing instructions.
  4. Keep the mirror supported while engaging every designated mounting point. Have two people lift large or heavy mirrors and check all connections before releasing it.

Do not drill or modify the mirror frame, assume horizontal mounting is allowed, or substitute adhesive strips or generic hooks for the specified hardware.

FreestandingFor full-length mirrors supplied with an approved floor stand.

  1. Check the stand, hinges, and any required fasteners. Assemble only as shown in the instructions for your model.
  2. Position the stand as instructed and engage any specified locks or supports. Do not force the hinges beyond their intended range.
  3. Place the mirror on a firm, level surface with every support point seated correctly. Keep it away from door swings and busy walkways.
  4. Check that the stand stays in position and the mirror does not rock or slide. Follow any additional securing requirements in the instructions.

Not every full-length mirror has a floor stand. A wall-mounting bracket is not a floor stand, and a partially opened or damaged stand is not a safe substitute.

Leaning against a wallOnly for models that explicitly permit a leaning setup.

  1. Confirm that leaning is approved for your model. Check its instructions for the stand position and any securing requirements.
  2. Choose a firm, level floor and a suitable wall. Keep the location clear of moving doors, slippery surfaces, and busy walkways.
  3. Position the mirror and complete any required securing setup exactly as instructed. Do not remove or modify the stand unless the model instructions allow it.
  4. Check the base and support for movement without pushing or pulling the glass. If the safe leaning setup is unclear, contact us before using the mirror.

Resting a mirror against a wall alone does not prevent tipping. Do not use an unsecured leaning mirror where children, pets, or passing movement could knock it over.

Over-the-door hangingOnly for mirrors specifically designed for door installation.

  1. Check the specified door thickness and top clearance against your door and the model's hanging hardware. If those specifications are missing, ask us before installation.
  2. Attach the matching door hooks at the positions shown in the instructions. If the model has adjustable hooks, use matching positions and secure every required fastener.
  3. Support the mirror as you seat the supplied hooks over the door. Check that the hooks sit correctly and the door is suitable for the load.
  4. While supporting the mirror, slowly check the door's movement and clearance. Stop if the mirror shifts, the hooks bind, or the door cannot close freely.

Door hooks and fit vary by model. Do not force the door closed, modify the hooks, or assume the mirror fits every standard door.

Before you use your mirror

Complete these checks for your chosen setup. Keep children and pets clear until the mirror is secure.

Stop using the mirror if it cracks, shifts, rocks, slides, or has a loose or missing support. Keep the area clear and contact us. Do not attempt an improvised repair.

  • Every required fixing, hook, or stand connection is secure.
  • The mirror is stable in its intended position, with no rocking or sliding.
  • Doors and nearby furniture move freely without touching the mirror.
  • The glass, frame, and supports are free from visible damage.
